DOD/MWD K-9 Obstacle course
Manufactured to meet Department of Defense approved specifications for use at Military and Government Installations and Facilities throughout the USA and World-Wide.
The DOD/MWD K-9 Obstacle course includes the following
- Hurdles (3 each per set)
- A-Frame
- Dog Walk
- Double Stairway
- Window Hurdle Obstacle
- Tunnel and Barrels
Hurdles (3 each per set)
48" wide and 36" tall with three fixed horizontal slats and three slats which are removable. This allows for the hurdle to be adjusted to heights of 18", 24", 30", and 36" for the ultimate in versatility
A-Frame (Approx. 6' tall X 43" wide)
A-frame is constructed of non-slip materials at each point where the canine will walk or climb. Cleats are included for traction and safety. The A-Frame is large and beefy in construction and can be adjusted in height from virtually horizontal to a maximum of 6', in increments of approximately 1/2".
Dog Walk (Approx. 214" long)
device requires the dog to negotiate a narrow incline, a 12' narrow, level walk, and narrow decline ramp.
Double Stairway (Approx 8' tall X 23' long)
The Double Stairway is the largest piece of equipment in the MWD/K-9 Set, measuring approximately 8' in height and 24' in length. This training and agility device is fabricated from both extra strong, ribbed and tongue-and-groove profiles and non-slip vinyl materials. Its beefy construction makes it more than substantial for dog and dog handler alike.
The Double Stairway is very simple to setup with only four connection points. Simply fit the two halves of the unit together and drop the pins in to the hasps, which are already attached. No complex or detailed assembly is required.
Window Hurdle Obstacle
Like the hurdles, the bottom portion of the Window Obstacle has removable slats, which allow for the hurdle (bottom portion) of the obstacle to be set at 18", 24", 30", or 36".
Tunnel and Barrels
Tunnel 18" diameter X 96" long
Barrels 24" diameter X 35", 70", and 105"
The Tunnel Crawl is constructed of high-density polyethylene, considered the "work horse of construction plastics," out performing and out lasting traditional metal and mineral materials in a wide range of applications. The tunnel is 18" in diameter and 8' in length, corrugated to provide strength and traction. It will not crack or break, and maintains its impact strength even at lower temperatures. In order to stabilize the tunnel in the desired location, place a sandbag on either side at both ends of the tunnel. Sand bags are provided as a part of the set.
