We are now hiring two dog trainers.

Police/Schutzhund Dog Training
The first position is for a dog trainer that can handle teaching Basic Obedience to include: Sit, Down, Stay, Heal, And Heal in motion, Come Attack, Let go, Retrieve, Out, Bark, and Hold, etc. The trainer should be able to handle all aspects of Police Dog and Schutzhund training. Duties will also include scent detection training and we can provide you the scent detection training if you do not have experience in this.

Pet Obedience Dog Trainer
The second position is for a dog trainer that can handle teaching pet obedience for all breeds. The pet obedience shall include: Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel, Retrieve, Out, and Place. The following methods of training will consist of positive motivation, compulsive, as well as E-Collar training.

We have a 20-acre k-9 training facility, which includes the flowing:  40 Dog Kennels with 6’ x 10’ Runs, Concrete Flooring with drains and a covered roof with lighting and overhead fans. There is a complete modern grooming facility, scent detection training room, obedience training room, 175’ wide by 300’ long Schtuzhund field with police obstacle course that is fenced and lighted for night time training, we also have 10 training vehicles and a school bus for scent detection training and k-9 vehicle extractions. There is also a separate 50’ wide by 100’ long fenced in area with a agility course. There is also a police shooting range on our facility that we utilize for handgun and carbine qualification and to do live fire training with the k-9’s.
